CYBER SAFETY!
With so many children having access to the internet, it is important to know the dangers involved and to do what we can to keep our children safe. I have included some safety information from Child Find Manitoba that I hope you find useful. The following guidelines are from their “Kids in the Know” personal safety curriculum.
**Keep your computer in a supervised area **Children should not have computers in their bedrooms **Teach your children to keep all personal information off of the Internet **Teach your children to be respectful and to treat others the way they would want to be treated **Do not allow children to send photos without parents’ permission **Never allow children to meet with someone that they have only met through the internet unless it is supervised by parents.
TEAM RECYCLING!
Thank you to 5-N for working so hard for the past two months for Team Recycling.
You have been fantastic role models for our school and community!
Next up – our grades 2/3 MN and 5/6 G – will be partnering together to work on Team Recycling. A great example of Building Communities across grade levels.
We are colleting recycling on the last day of the week from 11:30 – 11:45 a.m.
Please let us know if you would like to help with this valued and important part of our school community!
